A classic door knocker in solid brass with a polished nickel plated finish. Superb quality, made in the UK. This shape and style is a classical style of the 18th century and also known as the Adam knocker. Urn-shaped knockers were influenced buy the 18th century designers Robert and James Adam. They particularly look good on panelled doors with a central raised bar in the middle.
