Willow & Stone was dreamed up during my years commuting to and from London whilst working for LASSCO. The plan was to open an old fashioned Period Ironmongers supplying Period fixtures and fittings along with unusual traditional products that are difficult to source in Cornwall. Various set backs along the way meant that the website came first. We launched in September 2005, opening our first store opened in Falmouth in September 2006. In 2010 we opened a second little shop this time selling stationery, prints and cards which quickly went from strength to strength. In 2012 we moved to our current location at number 18, a beautiful double fronted store front which we restored and brought back to life. A fabulous and welcoming space which is now home to our ironmongery displays, lighting, vast array of unusual gifts and fabulous books and stationery.

Instore you will also find our fabulous selection of illustrated paper goods – cards, wrap, stationery and gorgeous books. Falmouth University means that our town is flooded with hugely talented artists and illustrators who inspire the growing collections. We also have a children’s corner with inspired products from Maileg, Meri Meri and Playforever amongst many more along with a little area for kids to play. And don’t worry if your children aren’t ‘seen and not heard’, children are very welcome here. Dogs are welcome here too. If a wagging tail does some damage to a roll of wrap I think we can live with it!
