A classic heavy pair of nickel plated solid brass door knobs in the 'Beehive' style. This is a beautifully crafted door handle that feels and looks substantial and weighs approximately 1kg a pair.
The term 'Beehive' refers to the repeat reeded detailing. Beehive became a highly popular design born in the Regency era and used heavily throughout the Victorian period and into the early 20th Century.

  • Knob and roseplate diameter: 50mm
  • Spindle - L: 113mm x Width: 8mm
  • Made from nickel plated solid brass
  • Unsprung so needs to be used with a heavily sprung mortise or rim latch due to its weight
  • Suitable for mortise and rim locks
  • One roseplate can be removed for use with rim locks
  • Can be used on internal and external doors
  • Cannot be used singularly
  • Set comprises two handles with grub screws, two roses (back plates), a threaded spindle and screws
